This is a proposed logo for DoubleHead Resorts located in Florence, Alabama. The resort decided not to pursue a new logo at this time.
I went with a "stained-glass" feel to the logo. I tried to incorporate the different elements of the nature of the resort. Being located on the Tennessee River and on a small lake, the element of water is present as well as the green of the surrounding landscape then topped-off with a baby-blue sky. The "Double D" is hidden in there along with the "H" figure to re-enforce the DoubleHead name - albeit quietly. |
